Blue Lagoon Vintage Brooch
Lets talk about accent pieces and their history! This brooch was designed in the early 60's by DeLizza and Elster Juliana for Sarah Coventry.
Blue Lagoon pieces from the 1960s had aurora borealis rhinestones on them, alongside smaller blue and purple ones. The asymmetrical Mosaic combined solid-color and dappled cabochons on gold-tone.
About this brooch: Definitely a stunning combination of cobalt blue aurora borrealis navettes and round light blue and cobalt rhinestones. It has an open center which adds interest to the teardrop shape. All stones are prong set. This was part of the Blue Lagoon set which did have matching earrings.
